The Rochester High School Band and Choir competed in the IHSA Music Contest last Friday. All RHS Bands and Choirs received Superior Ratings. The RHS Madrigals were chosen as Co-Best of the Event.
Congratulations to the RHS Science Olympiad Team. The Rochester Rocket Scientists finished up the year with several medalists at the University of Illinois State Science Olympiad Tournament. Way to Go Rockets!!!

We would love for your family to join us at the 2025 Central Illinois STEM Fair to be held on Wednesday, April 9 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at the Rochester Athletic Complex. Last year the STEM Fair hosted 80 exhibits and attracted over 1000 attendees from 20 different schools in Central Illinois. The STEM Fair showcases local STEM activities for students covering a wide range of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics topics. There will be a Senior Exploration Day on Wednesday, April 9 and RHS Seniors will not be in attendance. They will need to complete 2-3 hours of either: job shadowing, trade/college visit or community service. A form will need to be signed to verify you completed one of the above activities.
On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, all freshmen, sophomores and juniors will take the ACT 9, ACT 10 or ACT at school as a part of the State of Illinois testing requirement.
