Registration

Online registration for the 2021-2022 school year is now open for all students. You can access online registration through Skyward Family Access. The Skyward Family Access link is located on the district’s website www.rochester3a.net.  You will need to use your username and password that were previously assigned to you.  If you do not have your login information, you can contact the District Office at 217-498-6210. A tutorial for completing online registration and payment can be accessed here: Registration & Payment Instructions.  Several forms have been combined this year in order to make the process more efficient.  Families with multiple students use the same login information for all students.

Important Notes:

  • All Enrollments and Registrations are completed online.

  • Please review your family information (step 1c) carefully to ensure that your email and phone numbers are accurate to receive information.

  • There is an option under Family Information to indicate if your immediate family includes an active member of the military.

  • The option to pay fees with a credit or debit card will be available this year. You may also pay with a check by dropping off the check at the District Office, in the locked dropbox located outside of the District Office, or by mailing registration fees to Rochester CUSD 3A, 4 Rocket Dr., Rochester, IL 62563.

  • The registration fee is $100 and there is an additional $5 fee if paying by credit or debit card.  There may be additional fees that pertain to your individual student(s). Please refer to the District Fee Schedule at the end of online registration to see if any additional fees apply to your student(s).

  • Important:  Course fees will be based on the courses into which each student has been placed. If your high school student wishes to change his or her course placement(s), those changes will need to be done by contacting their high school guidance counselor.  Please do not pay fees until after those changes have been made.  Guidance counselors can be reached by email or phone by calling the Student Services Office at 217-498-6210, ext. 3405.  Students are assigned their counselors by the first letter of their last name.  This information is outlined below.

  • Athletics/Activities Registration - The Rochester Athletic Department requires all athletic participants to register using a  software program called “rSchoolToday”. Please follow these directions. Here is the link to register. If you have any further questions, please email Angie Butler at abutler@rochester3a.net.

  • Chromebook distribution will be the first day(s) of school.

  • Medication drop-off will be scheduled prior to the first day of school by the building nurse and information will be shared in the near future.

  • Rubbermaid Bins are located outside of each attendance center for families to drop off birth certificates, dental exams, vision exams, and vaccination records not yet submitted for the 21-22 school year. Please make sure to put your information in a sealed envelope with your child’s first/last name and grade level and email your child’s building principal if you have left information for them.

    • Families can also email student medical information and required documentation to their child’s building nurse.  School nurses’ email addresses are listed below.

  • K-6 class placement/teacher assignments will be posted on Skyward Family Access at a future date. You will not be able to view your child’s class placement/teacher assignment until registration fees have been paid.

  • Junior High and High School students will NOT have school pictures taken at registration. Pictures will be taken the first few days of School. More information will be coming from building principals.

  • If you have not filled out your transportation information, please do so immediately. This is separate from the online registration process. The transportation form can be accessed at our District Home Page under District Transportation Form 2021-2022.
