Rocket Poms Summer Camp
The Rochester High School: Rocket Poms are excited to host our tenth annual Lil’ Sis Summer Dance Camp! Camp will be held at RES 2-3 and will run June 4th-6th, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. each day. Fill out the digital registration link, or email reservations to Coach Debbie Dobbins Kramer at dkramer@rochester3a.net. Registration will be permitted the day of the event, but t-shirt quantities may be limited. Payment can be sent with your child on the day of the clinic. Checks should be made payable to RHS Poms.

If you have checked out a book from the library, you need to have them back no later than Monday, May 5th. If the library is closed, please bring the book to the office.

2024-25 RHS Madrigal Auditions - This Week
Auditions for the 2025-26 RHS Madrigals will be May 7 and 8 after school in the choir room. Any Rochester student entering 9th-12th grade is welcome to audition, even if you're not in choir this year. Signup deadline is April 30. Breakfast Service Closed on Friday May 9th
Due to the Senior Breakfast on Friday, May 9th, the kitchen will be closed for breakfast for RHS/RJHS students. The cafeteria will be open for early drop off, but breakfast will not be served. Please make sure you grab something when you leave the house so that you are not hungry in the morning.
Boys Basketball: update
Community Open Gyms start May 8th in the RAC.
Community Open gyms Thursday nights this year.
There will be no community open gyms in June due to renovations being completed in the RAC. They will start back up on Thursdays in July and run through October.

Rochester Summer Sports Camps
Summer is less than 1 month away. Here are the sports camps for this summer.
Attendance Reminder - Dr./Dentist/Ortho. Notes
Make sure that you are calling your student out on days they are sick or have a doctor appointment. This way the office does not have to call you later to check in or they can have your child ready for early pick up.
Make sure that Doctor’s notes are being brought to the Jr High office after the appointment or if your student has been sick. That note will change that absence in Skyward from a parent excuse - AE to a doctor excuse - AD. Remember that students get 10 parent excused absences (AE) in a school year. After 10 they will be considered unexcused (UU). You can have your student bring in the note to the office or you can email the note to cjones@rochester3a.net .
Mental Health Days: you are allowed 5 mental health days in a school year, but those are also part of your 10 excused absences (AE) that were mentioned above. If 10 absences have been taken, all absences going forward will be marked as unexcused unless there is a doctor’s note for that day.
