Food Drive
Attention RJHS students and your awesome families,
It's that time of year when we love to help restock the Rochester Christian Church's food pantry. We will be holding a food drive competition from Monday, November 6th to Monday, November 20th. The learning lab with the highest percent of donations will win a donut party on Tuesday, November 21st. Please help get the food pantry ready for Thanksgiving and other meals this winter. Here is a list of items that food pantries often request if you are looking for ideas. Thanks for your kindness and making a difference in our community. May the most generous learning lab win!
Pre-K Screening for January 2024 class
Due to grant funding from the Illinois State Board of Education, Rochester CUSD 3A will be opening a needs-based prekindergarten classroom in January 2024. Please see the attached flier for information on screenings to be considered for the program!
SWING FLAG CAMP!!
Calling all 2nd grade through 8th grade girls. Come join our RHS Color Guard for their annual swing flag camp fundraiser. Registration deadline is Friday, November 24th. Practices are Nov 28th and Nov 29th with a performance on Friday, December 1st at the RAC. Check out the attached flier for more information. If your student plans to participate in one of our upcoming sports seasons, please visit RHS RSchool to register your athlete. We will also need an updated physical on file. Don’t forget to subscribe to “notify me” for your child’s sport, this allows you to get automatic notifications of any schedule changes. If you need to check your child’s physical date or have any questions about the registration process, please contact Kim Hauck at khauck@rochester3a.net.

Mark your calendars for the RJHS school dance on Friday, December 15th- A Night under the Stars from 6-8 PM. More details to come closer to the date, but you will not want to miss this fun event!
