PTO

We need more volunteers to attend PTO meetings this year in order to continue to operate. Can you make it to our next meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 5:15 pm in the RIS cafeteria? Hope to see you there!  Here is a link to information about our meetings for the rest of the school year.

Lost and Found

Please remind your child(ren) to check out our lost and found table in the back of the cafeteria if they are missing any items.  We have a large amount of items that are piling up on the lost and found table.

We need your help restocking our empty toilet paper tubes and paper towel tubes for STEAM activities and the Makerspace.  If you can help us replenish our stock that would be greatly appreciated.  Students can bring the tubes to Mrs. Flynn in the technology office.  Thank you for your help!

Parent Pick-up:

As a reminder, for parent pick-up at the end of the day, all parents should remain in their vehicles and follow the pick-up line around and to the front of the building.  Please do not park in the parking spaces in order to pick up your child.  Thank you for your help with this!

Lunch Balances

The low lunch balance alerts have been reactivated for all families.  You will get an alert when your lunch balance is below $5.00.  If you choose to shut off the alert, you will no longer get any school announcements.

Hazel Health

We want to make sure every student has the option to access our student health services from day one.  Be sure to take part in our Consent for Care Drive by signing the form at my.hazel.co/rochester3a.  If you have already completed the form, thank you!

Why sign up?

When students are not feeling well, they often miss more school when they can’t see a doctor.  We are making doctor visits available to all students through Hazel, so they can receive medical care and return to learning faster.  Wondering whether your child has allergies or a potential flu?  Your child says they have a headache that just won’t go away, and you’re not sure whether it’s serious?  Will you need to leave work to drop off medicine at school?

Hazel can help by providing HIPAA-compliant video doctor visits through your school nurse’s office or from home.  Hazel is a trusted resource for extended student health services, including:

  • Medical treatment: For stomach aches, headaches, sprained ankles, asthma concerns, and everything in between

  • Medication: Prescriptions written or over-the-counter provided at school when needed

  • Coordination: With family physician and school

Sign the form at this link now to be prepared for student health this school year: my.hazel.co/rochester3a

Parents who are unable to sign the form today can still sign up at any time during the school year.  We encourage you to do this early, so you are prepared for student health this year.
