RIS Band and Choirs
Sixth Grade Swing Choir will meet today at 12:00 PM. If you love to sing, act and perform - we'd love to have you involved you're not too late, Today is the last day to join! Come join us TODAY in the Chorus Room at 12:00 (noon). We're preparing for our "Medieval Times" production and are still in need of actors, singers, dancers, gymnasts, and a magician! Our holiday program is going to be a blast!
Fifth Grade Band will meet with Mrs. Parker TODAY at 11:50 A.M. (right after lunch recess).
Today is the last day students will be allowed to join our Bands or Choirs at RIS. Otherwise, we will not accept new members until after Winter Break in January!
Students: if you are in any of our 5th or 6th Grade Bands or Choirs - but have not received your information letter for your parents, please see Mrs. Parker in the Band Room following these morning announcements!
Also, if you have your signed parent forms to turn in, please bring the form down to Mrs. Parker in the Band room as well!! Mr. McCafferty won't be here until later this morning!
*The turn-in deadline for the participation forms is tomorrow (Friday)!
Who is ready for Leonard Bowl XII?
Leonard Bowl will be held this year on our own field, Rocket Booster Stadium on Friday, September 10th at 7:00 p.m.
The Apparel Store for Leonard Bowl XII is now open! Store Closes on September 2nd at midnight, so hurry and get your orders in.
Apparel pickup will be Thursday, September 9th; time and location TBD.

6th Grade Girls Basketball
For any 6th grade girls who are interested in playing basketball, tryouts will be held 3:30-5:00 on Thursday, September 9th, and Friday, September 10th. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Acree.
RYAA Co-Ed Volleyball
RYAA Co-Ed Volleyball registration is NOW open thru September 1st for grades 2-8. The season will run from September 6- Nov 8 with games held on Sundays. The cost is $50 per child with a $5 sibling discount.
