JR HIGH CROSS COUNTRY
There will be an informational meeting with Coach Johnson for 5th and 6th graders interested in Cross Country on Monday, May 19th at 2:40 in the cafeteria. Please wait for the announcement before coming down for the meeting.

The Rochester High School: Rocket Poms are excited to host our tenth annual Lil’ Sis Summer Dance Camp!
Camp will be held at RES 2-3 and will run June 4th-6th, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. each day. Fill out the digital registration link, or email reservations to Coach Debbie Dobbins Kramer at dkramer@rochester3a.net. Registration will be permitted the day of the event, but t-shirt quantities may be limited. Payment can be sent with your child on the day of the clinic. Checks should be made payable to RHS Poms.

ROCHESTER SUMMER SPORTS CAMPS
The Rochester Summer Sports Camps are designed to give boys and girls of all levels - beginners to advanced - the opportunity to develop their individual skills under the guidance and direction of the Rochester High School coaching staff. Please click this link for more information!
Boys Basketball:
Community Open gyms are being moved to Thursday nights this year.
Beginning May 1st in the RAC. There will be no community open gyms in June due to renovations being completed in the RAC. They will start back up on Thursdays in July and run through October.

ATHLETICS & ACTIVITIES
SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENT
If your student plans to participate in sports this school year '24-'25. Registration is open. At that time, please visit Athletic Registration to register your athlete. Please go under the 'more' tab and choose athletic registration. We will also need an updated physical on file. Don’t forget to subscribe to “notify me” for your child’s sport, this allows you to get automatic notifications of any schedule changes. If you need to check your child’s physical date or have any questions about the registration process, please contact Kim Hauck at khauck@rochester3a.net.

Transportation Changes
All transportation changes must be submitted to the office no later than 2:00pm. Please call the office at 217-498-6215 or email your changes to Mrs. Howie at chowie@rochester3a.net or Mrs. Lovett at clovett@rochester3a.net. Any request for transportation changes past 2:00 pm cannot be accepted. Thank you for your cooperation!
Parent Pick-up:
For parent pick-up at the end of the day, we prefer the line system. All parents should remain in their vehicles and follow the pick-up line around and to the front of the building. You may also choose to park in the spots in the parking lot. It is our preference that you use the line system, however if you choose to park, please come to the front of the building and escort your student to the vehicle safely. Under no circumstances should students be walking across the parking lot unescorted. Thank you for your help with this!
Lunch Balances
The low lunch balance alerts have been reactivated for all families. You will get an alert when your lunch balance is below $5.00. If you choose to shut off the alert, you will no longer get any school announcements.
