Bus Announcements
Bus #3, Bus #20, Bus #23 are double routes today.
Just a reminder that RIS double bus riders will go to the elementary campus to wait until their bus arrives.
6th Graders signed up for STEAM with Mrs. Tinder-our first club date is this Wednesday after school. Check our canvas page for announcements.
Mr. Jones is out today. His band lessons will not meet.
6th Grade Music should report to Mr. McCafferty's room today. Bring your Chromebooks.
Fifth Grade Chorus - Halloween Spooktacular Show
Rehearsals continue Today- Monday thru Thursday for our entire Chorus!

*All rehearsals are optional; however, we'd really like to have all kids on Tuesday and Wednesday October 24th and 25th for our Final Rehearsals if at all possible!

CANCELED - Halloween Color Blast 5k:
We regret to inform you that the Junior Class Halloween Color Blast 5k Fundraiser, initially planned to take place on Sunday, October 29th has been cancelled. Because of low interest numbers we will be canceling this event and refunding all those that did register.

Halloween fundraiser for RIS PTO

RYAA Basketball
Registration for RYAA Basketball is now open to boys and girls in grades K-2, 3-4 and 5-6. Registration ends Nov. 15. Volunteer coaches are also needed to keep this program running.

Transportation Changes
All transportation changes must be submitted to the office no later than 2:00pm. Please call the office at 217-498-6215 or email your changes to Mrs. Howie at chowie@rochester3a.net or Mrs. Lovett at clovett@rochester3a.net. Any request for transportation changes past 2:00 pm cannot be accepted. Thank you for your cooperation!
Parent Pick-up:
For parent pick-up at the end of the day, we prefer the line system. All parents should remain in their vehicles and follow the pick-up line around and to the front of the building. You may also choose to park in the spots in the parking lot. It is our preference that you use the line system, however if you choose to park, please come to the front of the building and escort your student to the vehicle safely. Under no circumstances should students be walking across the parking lot unescorted. Thank you for your help with this!
Lunch Balances
The low lunch balance alerts have been reactivated for all families. You will get an alert when your lunch balance is below $5.00. If you choose to shut off the alert, you will no longer get any school announcements.
