GIRLS HS STATE TRACK ANNOUNCEMENT

Rochester Girls’ Track qualifiers participated in the State Meet on Friday and Saturday.  We started Friday in a great way by qualifying all 3 events, 4 x 800, and Colleen and Brooke Zeibert in the 800. On Saturday, the 4 X 800 ran and finished 11th overall.  Great job to those girls - Trinity Hicks, Brooke Zeibert, Addi Schmedeke, and Colleen Zeibert. After a 2 hour rain delay, Brooke and Colleen competed in the 800 M.  Both ran PR’s and both earned medals. Brooke placed 9th with a time of 2:22.0 and Colleen placed 2nd with a time of 2:13.83 - breaking her own school record from 2021 State. Coach Trexler, Coach Burke, and Coach Owens are so proud of these girls and their efforts.  Also, the Girls’ Team will have an Awards Gathering today at 3:30 p.m. in the JH/HS Cafeteria.  Team members please be there.  If you cannot, please contact Coach Trexler to receive your awards.
