ONLINE FOOTBALL TICKET SALES
Purchase your Football tickets at PURCHASE ONLINE TICKETS for the game this Friday, 9/3. Tickets sales will start today and run through Friday at 12:00 p.m. Due to limited cell phone service at the stadium we ask that you either print or screenshot your tickets to ensure access to them at the gate. Please remember that all Rochester District students (K-12) have free admission to all events this year so you will not need to purchase tickets for them to attend. LEONARD BOWL XII
Who is ready for Leonard Bowl XII? The Leonard Bowl will be held this year on our own field, Rocket Booster Stadium on Friday, September 10 at 7:00 p.m. The Apparel Store for Leonard Bowl XII is now open! Store Closes on September 2 at midnight, so hurry and get your orders in. Leonard Bowl Apparel Link. Apparel pickup will be Thursday, September 9; time and location TBD. CLASS OFFICER ELECTIONS - APPLICATIONS DUE 9/2/21
Are you interested in a position as a class officer? Please fill out the application and return to the appropriate teacher by 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 2. Possible positions include: President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer. Completed forms are due September 2! Class Officer Application
PSAT-NMSQT TEST - JUNIORS
Attention Juniors - We will be offering the PSAT-NMSQT test on Wednesday, October 13. This is a voluntary test and costs $18 to take. It is recommended for college bound students. We have a limited number of tests available - first come, first serve. Sign up with Mrs. Schudel in Student Services by Thursday, September 30.

IMPORTANT YEARBOOK INFORMATION:
All 2021 graduates, current seniors, juniors, and sophomores can pick their 2020-21 yearbook up on Wednesday, September 1 following the schedule below. You will pick up your yearbook in the back of the high school at Door Number 6 which is the first door west of the band room. RHS HOMECOMING PARADE INFORMATION
This year’s Rochester High School Homecoming Parade will be on Wednesday, September 22 at 5:30 p.m. This year’s theme is “Fairytales”. If you are interested in participating in the parade or need additional information, please contact Deena Powell at (217)498-9761, Ext. 3122 during the school day or you can email me at dpowell@rochester3a.net. Parade entries should fill out a form at this link Parade Entries. All parade entries need to have adult supervision and will not include political entries. ALL sports/activities/businesses not directly connected to the Rochester Schools will need to fill out a Waiver of Liability Form and return to Deena Powell at dpowell@rochester3a.net no later than 3:15 pm on Tuesday, September 21. ATHLETICS & ACTIVITIES
CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS
This weekend Rochester Cross country competed in the Civic Memorial Twilight Invite. Both the girls and boys teams finished second in the competition. For the girls, Colleen Zeibert was the individual champion in a course record time of 19:16. Varsity runners included Brooke Zeibert, 5th, Lacy Steck, 7th, Trinity Hicks, 10th, Jillian Conlon, 15th, Maria Olson, 16th, and Emma Best , 20th. Adam Gribbins and Charlie Archey were the top runners for the boys finishing 4th and 5th. Other varsity included Spencer Loy, 7th, Max Wilber, 8th, Jack Arends, 10th, Ryan Gustafson, 13th, Aiden Garland-Sutter, 14th. Great job to all the Rockets who competed Saturday evening!
HS BOYS BASKETBALL OPEN GYM INFORMATION
For anyone interested in playing high school basketball this year that isn’t playing a fall sport, open gyms will be on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the RAC. Masks must be worn during the open gym.

If your student plans to participate in one of our upcoming sports seasons, please visit https://rochesterhs.rschoolteams.com/ to register your athlete. We will also need an updated physical on file. Don’t forget to subscribe to “notify me” for your child’s sport, this allows you to get automatic notifications of any schedule changes.
