RHS VOCAL JAZZ ENSEMBLE AUDITIONS
Auditions for the 2024 RHS Vocal Jazz Ensemble will be held January 11 and January 12 after school and during Rocket Time. Vocal Jazz is an extracurricular vocal group open to any RHS student. If interested, please check out the Vocal Jazz Auditions Info Sheet Contact Mr. Spear with any questions!
ATTENTION SENIOR PARENTS - DEADLINE, 2/29/24
Yearbook Senior Recognition Ads are a great way for parents, families and friends to commemorate student achievements and important milestones. In addition, revenues from Recognition Ads help our school to create a better yearbook. To purchase your ad online, follow the instructions on the attached LETTER TO PARENTS and then click on the LINK to order. There is also a YouTube Instructional Video that may be helpful to watch before placing your order. Jostens is managing your school's yearbook ad sales, so please do not contact or send materials to the school. Please take into account our school's ad content guidelines on the bottom of the attached form during the creation of your ad online. All ad orders must be placed online by 02/29/2024.
FOOTBALL APPAREL & TRUCKER HAT PICK_UP
If you ordered any Rocket Football Apparel (State Champs, CS8 Champs, or general apparel) between 11/25-12/5 or ordered a Trucker Hat between 11/29-12/1 your items will be available for pick-up on Thursday, December 21 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Catholic Church of St. Jude (633 S. Walnut St., Rochester). We still have some copies of Victorious! A Story of Faith, Family, and Football in the Heartland by Mike Chamness. The book is $25.00 and can be purchased at apparel Pick-up on Thursday (cash or check made payable to RHS). All proceeds will benefit the Rochester Rocket Football Program. CACC ANNOUNCEMENT
CACC will be back in session on Jan 3, 2024. All CACC students are expected to resume attendance then. The bus for CACC will leave from the High School at 12:10 p.m. on those days.

Get ready for our hilarious Spring One-Act Play, “13 Ways to Screw Up Your College Interview”! This year’s auditions will be held after Winter Break on January 9. RHS GIRLS SOCCER FUNDRAISER
RHS Girls Soccer Rocket blankets are 60" x 80" and are not sport specific. These blankets make the perfect gift for any occasion. This is a great way to show your school spirit and support your ROCKETS! Special Price of ONLY $65.00 IF YOU ORDER NOW! The price will go up after December 15th! Orders must be placed by December 11th for our first delivery. Delivery is scheduled between January 15-30. We will send out a flier you can include with a gift for Christmas. RHS PTO INFORMATION
As we gear up for the cold and flu season, we would like to help the HS teachers stock up on kleenex and Clorox wipes! You can make a donation at PayPal - (RHS PTO @rhsrocketspto) , you can visit our Amazon Wish List at RHS PTO Wish List or you can drop off donations at Student Services. The money collected helps buy supplies for the school and helps provide meals for Parent/Teacher conferences and treats during Teacher Appreciation Week. Any donation is greatly appreciated!

The LLCC Foundation Scholarship Application for the 2024-2025 academic year is now open through February 15, 2024. All students considering or planning to attend LLCC beginning in Fall 2024 are encouraged to apply. Please visit LLCC Scholarships for more information.

PARKING
If you plan on driving a vehicle to school this year, you must fill out the parking survey and pay the parking fee. If you have not already completed the survey, please do so ASAP, Rochester HS Parking Survey. Please make sure you are parking in the correct parking spot. Also, all students that park in the back lot will be required to enter through the MPR doors. Students should not be entering any of the other doors on the back side of the HS. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Tucker in the Principal’s Office.
ATHLETICS & ACTIVITIES
SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENT
If your student plans to participate in one of our upcoming sports seasons, please visit RHS RSchool to register your athlete. We will also need an updated physical on file. Don’t forget to subscribe to “notify me” for your child’s sport, this allows you to get automatic notifications of any schedule changes. If you need to check your child’s physical date or have any questions about the registration process, please contact Kim Hauck at khauck@rochester3a.net.
