MADRIGAL PERFORMANCE INFORMATION
Tickets for this year's Rochester Madrigal Dinners and Teas will go on sale to the public beginning this Monday, November 20. Show dates are December 8, 9, and 10. All ticket sales are online only this year. Links to purchase tickets will be in the school announcements, the Choral Department Facebook Page, and on all of Mr. Spear's Canvas websites beginning Monday, November 20.

RHS PTO INFORMATION
As we gear up for the cold and flu season, we would like to help the HS teachers stock up on kleenex and Clorox wipes! You can make a donation at PayPal - (RHS PTO @rhsrocketspto) , you can visit our Amazon Wish List at RHS PTO Wish List or you can drop off donations at Student Services. The money collected helps buy supplies for the school and helps provide meals for Parent/Teacher conferences and treats during Teacher Appreciation Week. Any donation is greatly appreciated!
GENERAL INFORMATION
4TH ROUND FOOTBALL PLAYOFF GAME
Rochester Football will play Murphysboro on Saturday, November 18 at 3:00 p.m. at Murphysboro HS. Gates will open at 1:30 p.m. Admissions: Admission is set by the IHSA. Digital tickets are $8.00. Cash Tickets at the Door are $9.00. Digital tickets are only available online through GoFan. The link to the tickets can be found here - Go Fan LINK. No passes will be accepted except for those on the school-submitted team pass list.
ILLINOIS STATE UNIVERSITY - NURSING OPEN HOUSE
Illinois State University is excited to extend an invitation to students who are interested in pursuing a career in nursing! Mennonite College of Nursing is hosting an Open House on Thursday, November 16 at our brand new Springfield location to welcome prospective students. This is a great opportunity for potential students to ask questions, tour the facility, and learn more about MCN Springfield. See the FLYER for more info.
PHYSICS CLUB INFORMATION
The Physics Club will be meeting on Monday, November 20 to make mini catapults! Please join us right after school in Mrs. Boyer's Room (Room 3156).
SENIORS - SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
The LLCC Foundation Scholarship Application for the 2024-2025 academic year is now open through February 15, 2024. All students considering or planning to attend LLCC beginning in Fall 2024 are encouraged to apply. Please visit LLCC Scholarships for more information.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM INFO
Due to grant funding from the Illinois State Board of Education, Rochester CUSD 3A will be opening a needs-based prekindergarten classroom in January 2024. Please see the attached FLYER for information on screenings to be considered for the program!
PARKING
If you plan on driving a vehicle to school this year, you must fill out the parking survey and pay the parking fee. If you have not already completed the survey, please do so ASAP, Rochester HS Parking Survey. Please make sure you are parking in the correct parking spot. Also, all students that park in the back lot will be required to enter through the MPR doors. Students should not be entering any of the other doors on the back side of the HS. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Tucker in the Principal’s Office.
DOCTORS NOTES
Please make sure that doctor’s notes are being brought to Mrs. Lessman in Student Services after the appointment.
ATHLETICS & ACTIVITIES
SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENT
If your student plans to participate in one of our upcoming sports seasons, please visit RHS RSchool to register your athlete. We will also need an updated physical on file. Don’t forget to subscribe to “notify me” for your child’s sport, this allows you to get automatic notifications of any schedule changes. If you need to check your child’s physical date or have any questions about the registration process, please contact Kim Hauck at khauck@rochester3a.net.
