ART CLUB
The Art Club will meet on Wednesday, October 11 from 3:15-4:15 p.m. in Mrs. Bell’s Art Room (1129).
FCA MEETING
FCA will meet this Sunday, October 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the RAC. All students are welcome to attend.
ORANGE KRUSH SHIRT PICKUP INFO
Orange Krush Shirt Pickup will be Wednesday, October 18 from 3:15-5:00 p.m. in the High School Commons.
CROSS COUNTRY TEAM RESULTS
This weekend the Cross Country Rockets competed in the Running Red Invitational in Metamora. The girls team finished in 4th Place. The team was led by Sophomore Ashley Zeibert who finished 9th. Brooke Zeibert and Natalie Nichols were also medalists. Madelyn Killion, Amara Kaeding, Maria Olson, and Jillian Conlon all ran in varsity spots. In the Freshman/Sophomore race Paige Conklin led the way finishing 35th. On the Boys side the team finished 15th. The top finisher was Jack Arends in 60th. Other varsity runners were Wyatt Gustafson, Kieran Powers, Porter DeFrates, George Oliver, Ben Armbruster and Braden Lueking. Jack Armbruster earned medalist honors finishing 17th in the Fresh/Soph race. Congratulations to all the Rockets who competed on Saturday!

Ms. Bilyeu's Current Events classes have a Battle of the Banned Books Display going on - so please vote for which display you think is the best!! Voting will go through Wednesday, October 11 at 3:05 p.m.
DISNEY TRIP PASTRY FUNDRAISER
The Annual Disney Trip Pastry Fundraiser is underway! You can purchase your favorite pastries, butter braids or popcorn now through October 12. Please see any Band, Choir, Flags or Poms member to place an order. Money is due at the time of order and checks should be made payable to “Music Department Trip Fund”. 3RD ANNUAL COLOR BLAST 5K - RHS JUNIOR CLASS - PROM FUNDRAISER
Please help the RHS Junior Class raise money for this year's Prom by participating in the 3rd Annual Halloween Color Blast 5k Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the JFL Fields at the Rochester Community Park! This event is open to the public and will be fun for ALL ages! Please read the waiver for this event and check the box on the registration form.

2024 STEM FAIR
The 7th Annual Central Illinois STEM Fair will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Rochester High School Athletic Complex. We are assembling a committee to help plan this year's event. If you would like to participate, please contact us at rochesterstemfair@gmail.com.
AUDIO ESSAY CONTEST
The Rochester VFW is sponsoring the Voice of Democracy audio essay contest. Winners can receive scholarship monies at the local post, district, state, and national levels. Please see Mr. Fitzgerald in Room 1135 for an entry form and more information. Entries are due to Mr. Fitzgerald by October 31.
FINANCIAL AID NIGHT
SENIORS: Financial Aid Night will be held on Wednesday, November 8 at 6:00 p.m. in the HS Fine Arts Auditorium.

PARKING
If you plan on driving a vehicle to school this year, you must fill out the parking survey and pay the parking fee. If you have not already completed the survey, please do so ASAP, Rochester HS Parking Survey. Please make sure you are parking in the correct parking spot. Also, all students that park in the back lot will be required to enter through the MPR doors. Students should not be entering any of the other doors on the back side of the HS. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Tucker in the Principal’s Office.
RHS PTO INFORMATION

The money collected helps buy supplies for the school and helps provide meals for Parent/Teacher conferences and treats during Teacher Appreciation Week. Any donation is greatly appreciated!

Don’t forget to subscribe to “notify me” for your child’s sport, this allows you to get automatic notifications of any schedule changes.
