The Annual Disney Trip Pastry Fundraiser is underway! You can purchase your favorite pastries, butter braids or popcorn now through October 12. Please see any Band, Choir, Flags or Poms member to place an order. Money is due at the time of order and checks should be made payable to “Music Department Trip Fund”. CROSS COUNTRY TEAM RESULTS
Last night, the Cross Country Rockets competed in the Carlinville Invitational and had their best meet of the season. Both the boys and girls teams came away with 1st Place! The girls were led by Ashley Zeibert, Brooke Zeibert, and Natalie Nichols. Other medalists included Maria Olson, Amara Kaeding, Madelyn Killion, and Paige Conklin. The boys team was led by Jack Armbruster. Other medalists included Wyatt Gustafson, Joey Thomas, Ammon Hardy and Kieran Powers. Porter DeFrates and Atreyu Gamble also finished in varsity positions. Great job to all the Rockets who competed last night!

3RD ANNUAL COLOR BLAST 5K - RHS JUNIOR CLASS - PROM FUNDRAISER
Please help the RHS Junior Class raise money for this year's Prom by participating in the 3rd Annual Halloween Color Blast 5k Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the JFL Fields at the Rochester Community Park! This event is open to the public and will be fun for ALL ages! 2024 STEM FAIR
The 7th Annual Central Illinois STEM Fair will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Rochester High School Athletic Complex. We are assembling a committee to help plan this year's event. If you would like to participate, please contact us at rochesterstemfair@gmail.com.
AUDIO ESSAY CONTEST
The Rochester VFW is sponsoring the Voice of Democracy audio essay contest. Winners can receive scholarship monies at the local post, district, state, and national levels. Please see Mr. Fitzgerald in Room 1135 for an entry form and more information. Entries are due to Mr. Fitzgerald by October 31.
FINANCIAL AID NIGHT
SENIORS: Financial Aid Night will be held on Wednesday, November 8 at 6:00 p.m. in the HS Fine Arts Auditorium.
2023-2024 RHS YEARBOOKS ON SALE NOW
The 2023-2024 RHS Rocket Yearbook is on sale now for $67.00 until September 15, the price will increase after this date. ALL sales for books will be online this year. PARKING
If you plan on driving a vehicle to school this year, you must fill out the parking survey and pay the parking fee. If you have not already completed the survey, please do so ASAP, Rochester HS Parking Survey. Please make sure you are parking in the correct parking spot. Also, all students that park in the back lot will be required to enter through the MPR doors. Students should not be entering any of the other doors on the back side of the HS. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Tucker in the Principal’s Office.
RHS PTO INFORMATION

The money collected helps buy supplies for the school and helps provide meals for Parent/Teacher conferences and treats during Teacher Appreciation Week. Any donation is greatly appreciated!

Don’t forget to subscribe to “notify me” for your child’s sport, this allows you to get automatic notifications of any schedule changes.
