COVID Vaccine Clinic
The best mitigation strategy against COVID-19  is to get vaccinated. It is also the best way to keep students and staff in schools full-time. Rochester Schools have already hosted two community vaccination clinics with high participation and we are excited to announce that we will again be partnering with the Sangamon County Department of Public Health to make COVID vaccines available to our community.

The vaccination clinic is voluntary and all individuals ages 12 and over who are interested may access their COVID-19 vaccination.

When:   Tuesday, August 3rd, 9 am-2 pm (If getting 1st dose of Pfizer, individuals will need to schedule 2nd dose at www.scdph.org on or after 8/24).

Where:  Rochester Jr/Sr High School Cafeteria, 1 Rocket Dr., Rochester, IL.  Please enter through the Junior High gymnasium entrance.

Who:   Anyone eligible to receive the COVID vaccine. Current guidelines are for those ages 12 & over.

What:  Anyone under the age of 18 should be accompanied by a parent/guardian.   Here is a link to additional vaccine information, including the consent form to complete ahead of time.  The health department plans to bring both the Pfizer vaccine and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine (1 dose for those that request it over the age of 18).

Vaccinations are available on a walk-in basis. Please reach out to Heather Arnold at harnold@rochester3a.net with any questions.
