The Rochester CUSD 3A Board of Education has taken the next step in its search for a new permanent superintendent. During a special board meeting held on June 26, the Board voted unanimously to hire Student-Centered Services, a Springfield-area firm, to guide the district through the superintendent search process.
Student-Centered Services is a newly formed education consulting group made up of experienced superintendents and school leaders with strong ties to central Illinois. Though the firm is approaching its first year of operation, its team brings decades of leadership experience in curriculum, finance, human resources, and district operations.
“We are excited to partner with a local firm whose team members have firsthand experience leading school districts,” said Board President Amy Reynolds. “Student-Centered Services aligns well with our values and brings a personalized, student-first approach to this important process.”
The firm has worked with school districts across Illinois to facilitate executive searches, leadership mentoring, and strategic planning. Their search process is known for being thorough, transparent, and inclusive of community input. Each superintendent search includes opportunities for stakeholders—staff, families, students, and community members—to provide feedback on the desired characteristics and priorities for the district’s next leader.
