Coming soon: student-written articles from the journalism class! Throughout the year, students will be learning skills related to interviewing, researching, and writing articles. Each student will be compiling a portfolio to show their growth throughout the year. We are excited to share this process with you and allow you to watch them grow as writers over the next several months. The students in this class will also get the opportunity to create graphics for Instagram, videos for various outlets, and articles covering current events. We even have a few field trips to the capitol building planned!
Thank you in advance for supporting our students as they get to apply what they are learning to real-world situations! So far, they have engaged in the history and ethics of journalism. Their first articles, which will be coming soon, will showcase their current skills. As they publish pieces throughout the year, you will get to see how their learning is impacting their writing and helping them grow!
