District Brand & Style Guide
This Brand & Style Guide describes the visual elements that represent Rochester CUSD #3A, including guidelines and templates required to present a unified brand image and message. Anyone, internal staff or vendor alike, responsible for creating materials of designs is expected to follow these guidelines. By presenting a consistent image and message in our marketing and communications materials, we can communicate our collective vision and capture the spirit that permeates our community.
Every staff member is responsible for protecting the district's interests by preventing unauthorized or incorrect use of the Rochester name and logo.

Retired logos
These logos are no longer to be used in any Rochester CUSD schools or school communications. Thus, they are not approved for any activity associated with or connected to the district. Previous iterations of the current block "R" should likewise not be used to maintain district consistency.
While each holds historical and sentimental value, these logos should no longer be used and should be deleted from databases unless express permission is given by the district.
Rochester Type Faces
The use of Winner Condensed Bold, Arial, and Georgia fonts by Rochester CUSD reflects our commitment to a modern, clear, and professional communication strategy. Winner Condensed Bold font signifies strength and innovation, Arial ensures simplicity and readability, while Georgia evokes tradition and academic excellence. These fonts help convey our school's identity effectively and professionally.
The majority of communications coming from the district and schools should primarily utilize Arial and Georgia. These fonts are ADA-compliant and widely recognized by tech companies for their compatibility with screen reading software, assisting those who rely on such tools.
The uniformed use of these typefaces will increase the district's ability to communicate with everyone. Arial and Georgia will be a key component to making sure that anyone can understand our communications regardless of their personal circumstances or any potential disabilities.

Using fantasy and script fonts is discouraged because of accessibility issues created by such files.
